McStartBox

A simple tool to start and manage a Minecraft Server which is synched by Dropbox to multiple users

Requirements

McStartBox works on Windows XP or newer. No Installation is required, it lives as a portable executable in your Dropbox next to a zip archive of the server files. Like Minecraft, you need a working Java Installation.

Preperation

Your current server needs to be packed up as minecraft_server.zip. Make sure the files are not in a subfolder in the zip archive. You have to include minecraft_server.jar. It has to look like this:

Development

If you wish to contribute to the project you can help by submitting bug reports or suggestions to the Issue Tracker.

To compile the project on your own you need a Unicode-enabled Delphi (Version 2010 and up), the Abbrevia Compression Components and OmniThreadLibrary installed. Active development is done in Delphi XE2 Professional at the moment.
